As soon as I hit play, I liked this tape. There's a spoken word piece (Do Things With My Mind) over a lovely chiming guitar and some droney winds, then frantic percussion appears to be drifting in from another room and it all sounds as though it's coming from an old radio - actually, I think it might be from a 'phone it in radio session. That's just one of the tracks and I'll recommend the tape for this alone, but there are longer live pieces too, the cassette is purple and the pink paper liner is a colour match for the shirt I have on as I'm writing this! Prog fans may like to note that We Have Heaven is a song on the Yes album Fragile. If you don't like yes, just put that down to coincidence! (Boa Melody Bar)

very nice set of”oud, lapsteel, piano, contact mic, mobile phone, and shortwave” improvs from andy futreal ... a magic blend of sandy bull & dariush dolat-shahi-isms that work especially well in the contemporary tape-trader framework ; could really use a multi-lp box of this stuff (Mimaroglu)
